Harry’s Bar Northbridge – RIB n’ WING NIGHT!
It’s winter time and my diet is once again out the window. My boyfriend called me up and the conversation went a little something like this:
Bf “Hey, you going to the gym tonight?”
Me “Yeah I am planning to, why?”
Bf “Want to go rib night at Harry’s Bar instead?”
Me “Yes, why yes I do.”
Bf “Oh cool, cause I booked us a table already.”
Harry’s Bar is on Francis Street in Northbridge and they have some of the best deals in town. Tuesday is $12 Pizza and Pint Night, Thursday is Beat the Meat Night where you can get a 400g ribeye for $20! and my favourite is Wednesday Rib n’ Wings Night. More info is on their website.
Ribs and Wing’s Night means insetead of paying the usual $26 for a serving of their Ribs n’ Wings including home coleslaw and a baked potato, you pay $19.90 for the first serve and then $2.50 after that for refills!

We didn’t need to look at their menu since we came just for the ribs, but their bar menu features a lot of cocktails.

The restaurant area has many private booths instead of the usual dining tables creating a nice and cosy setting.
Harry’s Bar Ribs n’ Wings Round 1 Hidden Wings
The first massive plate of their fall off the bone ribs. The ribs are very tender, saucy and it’s got some nice spices in the marinade. They give you a mix of the pork rib pieces. They are all so good!
The home slaw is very tangy and crunchy. The potato in loaded with sour cream and then topped with cheese.
Harry’s Bar Ribs n’ Wings Round 1
I found my wings underneath the layers of ribs. The wings are just as nice. Again marinated beautifully, then charred and then smothered in sauce all over again.
While the waitress clears your plate she asks and temps you with another a refill.

This is my second serving. I choose the plate with more bone pieces since I love tucking into boney rib pieces.

I won by making it to round 3. Each round tasted better then the next, but my stomach was slowly feeling like it was about to explode. Worth it!
Harry’s Bar Mocktail $5.00 approx
I asked the waitress if they could make up a mocktail since they was nothing on the menu except for cocktails. I was pleasently surprised with she told me it would only be $5.00! Usually people can charge anything up to $10.00.

Then I found the cherry at the bottom of my drink, what a way to top off my night!
The atmosphere here is laid back and the staff are very tentative. This a great place to take your friends if you are ever stuck for ideas.
